Sara Sermini

Sara Sermini is a Ph.D candidate at the Istituto di studi italiani of the University of Lugano. In 2017, she was Visiting Researcher at University College London (School of European Languages, Culture & Society), thanks to a Doc.Mobility Fellowship by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Her research interests encompass Literature in its intertwining with Political Thought and History of Ideas. Her current research focuses on the idea of poverty in the history of Italian culture between 1945 and 1960 and on the Italian reception of Russian literature and culture during the Cold War.
